| The training
program at UMDNJ in Newark consists of a single program with a shared
philosophy across two major tracks, one in child and one in adult.
In addition, there is a forensic sub-track within the adult program.
Each track provides training in core clinical skills and also provides
opportunities for work with specialized client populations. When
applying for the program, applicants should indicate the track(s)
for which they wish to be considered. Interns in all tracks will
be required to complete the core program described in the section
on Program Structure, but the location for the core experiences
is different for the two tracks. Many opportunities are provided
for a significant amount of interaction among the group of eight
interns, and there are a number of shared experiences. |
